My usual method of inserting something happy into each day for years has been a TV comedy. Now, I have this. He’s not cheaper than cable, but he is far better. Lately, all things are a hat. Food is a toy, and toys are food. Tupperware and refrigerator letter magnets are amazing (and must therefore be flicked), and sleep is for the weak.
Depression in many forms hits moms — and at any time — but the one thing we all have as a weapon to fight it is a scene like this.
As a little PSA for the day, don’t put off getting help and treatment. Your funny little person deserves a great you.
